Episode 7 - Fatherhood in 2020, Part 1

2020 is Year of the Dad!  In part 1 of our mega fatherhood podcast, hosts Andy and Josh reflect on what being a dad means to them.  They discuss their earliest recollections, generational differences in fatherhood, what some of their biggest challenges are, and some major hurdles their children will face.  Later this week we finish this conversation and conclude with a new twist on the List of the Week.  

Episode 6 - Grab Bag and Top 5 Favorite Characters

We're back with another grab bag episode!  We open by going around the horn on the four good sports.  We argue about LeBron versus Jordan (9:18), and wonder why ratings have been down across multiple sports during the pandemic (26:58).  In news, we briefly recap Trump having COVID and the VP debate (48:55), before moving on to the absolutely insane plot to kidnap the Michigan governor (1:01:19).  We close out the show with The List of the Week - Top 5 Favorite TV characters (1:07:12).

Episode 5 - The Politics Mega Show and Top 5 Toledo Restaurants

Andy and Josh are back for a serious discussion on the issues facing America today.  After presenting our general backgrounds and histories on politics, we give our personal perspectives on a host of issues: healthcare and how it may be impacted by the Supreme Court (26:40), climate change (47:41), guns (53:21), racial inequality and policing (1:03:59), abortion (1:33:40), and a few quick hits on other topics.  This episode gets heavy, but we hope you found it to be a worthwhile conversation.  We close the show out with a light-hearted List of the Week: Top 5 favorite Toledo food spots (1:59:51).

Episode 4 - Biden versus Trump: Presidential Debate Recap

Andy and Josh watched every second of the first presidential debate, so you don't have to.  We begin with a brief precap the hosts had before Tuesday's debate, before breaking down all of the debate insanity (10:13).  Is listening to the nation's top scientists a good idea? Hosts Andy and Josh are jacks-of-all-trades in this episode!  We open with a quick update on hockey and basketball before covering the return of Big 10 football in detail.  Which four teams did we kick out of the B1G?  In news (26:40), POTUS is coming to NW Ohio, and Andy tells you everything you need to know about the Toledo airport.  Josh discusses the CDC director's comments about vaccines and masks, and we dip our toes into COVID conspiracies.  We move on to how we've managed stress and the silver linings of the pandemic (46:50), before closing with our List of the Week - Four Movies We Like More Than You (1:05:00).

Episode 2 - All Things Football and our Favorite Buckeye Moments

After a wide-ranging intro, hosts Andy and Josh delve into their love of football, including the best stories from their time at Ohio State (6:15).  They discuss their Top 5 OSU football moments of the last 15 years (46:00), provide an update on how the college offseason has progressed so far (1:06:00), and close with some brief NFL takes (1:32:00).  Buckeye fans, you won't want to miss the bonus List of the Week (1:18:00).
